Chapter 44: Skeleton And Muscle

The first half of this chapter is devoted to skeletons and connective tissues. The physics of the musculoskeletal system is discussed. Connective tissues are broken down by fiber type, and the structure of bone is investigated. The second half of this chapter is on muscle. The relationship between muscle and skeletons is discussed. All functional units of muscle are explored along with the nervous components that work with muscle to provide movement.
