Question 1. Euglena are positioned between animal-like and plantlike. If they have chloroplasts, why aren't they solidly algaelike, or grouped with green algae?

Question 2. Water molds are filamentous and saprotrophic. Even in recent biology textbooks, they are classified with the fungi. Why are they no longer classified with fungi when their predominant features are fungus like?
