Question 1. In earlier history, males volunteered to be castrated to serve as eunuchs in the Chinese palace, and young boy singers likewise preserved their high voice to sing "castrato" in Italian opera. If this operation was conducted before puberty, what physiological and body changes would occur, and would ejaculation be possible?

Question 2. The percentage of cases of infertility has gone up recently. Although environmental factors may be involved, a portion of these are cases where the husband has normal healthy sperm and the wife has normal ovaries producing eggs. What relationship might this have to the epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases?
