TECHNOLOGY TO ACCOMPANY HUMAN BIOLOGY, CHAPTER 9
Dynamic Human CD-ROM: Urinary System

In Anatomy, the overall system, the kidney, and the nephron are shown in three dimensions. In Explorations, zooming in leads to a depiction of urine formation. In Histology, microscopic slides are highlighted to reveal tissues. In Clinical Concepts, intravenous pyelography is used to make out the urinary system, and an ultrasound of the bladder shows the location of a kidney stone.
