The American Cancer Society's Home Page is among the most comprehensive of cancer sites on the web. This site includes a description of the work of the American Cancer Society, gives information on numerous types of cancer, cancer prevention, employment opportunities, and much other information. Links to breast cancer and prostate cancer information are also included.
OncoLink, The University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center Resource has links to many specific cancer types, discusses medical specialties related to cancer treatment, and has excellent information on cancer causes, screening and treatment. This site allows the user to determine their own BMI, graphs the user=s BMI with those of the general populace, and tells where the user fits with the others, indicating probable chances of cancer development.
