1. If the wolves being reintroduced into Yellowstone Park begin to hunt outside the park boundaries and prey on cattle of neighboring ranches, as the coyotes have done in the past when coyotes were the top predators in the park, what do you think should be done?
  2. Careful observation suggests that most of the sea otters being eaten by orcas are killed by only a few individual killer whales. Do you think a program of killing orcas seen in the vicinity of sea otters would solve the problem? If not, why not?
  3. Many millions of dollars have been spent on the successful peregrine falcon and California condor captive breeding and release programs. It is clearly not going to be possible to devote similar funds to saving a large number of other species. If only a few similar species survival plans could be attempted, how would you recommend choosing which species to attempt saving?
