"Welcome to The Living World Web Site. I am a professor
of Biology at Washington University in St. Louis, where I have
taught freshman and sophomores for 24 years. I currently
teach two of the universities largest courses, BIO296
(Introduction to Biology for Majors) and BIO100 (Nonmajors
Biology). I have authored six different college biology texts, in
collaboration with Dr. Peter Raven, and two interactive
CD-ROMs that explore the basic concepts of biology through
animations that respond to changes in key variables."
