...of course, since I really don't have any idea which browser you're using, I can't make any guarantees as to how this bird's gonna fly. I suggest you try the graphics and text only site for your browsing pleasure. Yeah, you're missing some of the more interesting aspects of the site, such as Java, Macromedia Shockwave, and frames, but all the content is there, one hundred percent. You can also try the full version of this site, but don't be surprised when your browser starts making faces at you.
If you really want to get the most out of this site, might I suggest arming yourself with the proper tools for the job? You can download the latest version of Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer to get java and frame action going. Get one of those browsers, then head on over to Macromedia and snag a copy of their Shockwave plug-in suite, the cutting edge of internet multimedia and interactivity. Finally, the full version of this site runs like molasses unless you're connected at 28.8kbps or faster. Unfortunately, you can't download a new modem, so if you're slower than 28.8, you might want to stay away from the full version. That's all you need for the full impact of this site. Not bad, eh?
Editor's Note: this version of The Living World Website is a first-cut review release intended solely for review by William C. Brown Publishing. It is intended to give the user a basic feel for the final layout and theme of The Living World Website; there is little content and there may still be bugs in the pages. We recommend you review the full version of this site. The lite version is not yet in proper format, and will be very similar in appearance and feel to the full version. If you do not have Netscape Navigator 2.0 or better, you will need it to view the current full version; you can download it from Netscape Communications.
