Populations to Molecules Genentech's superb ACCESS EXCELLENCE site provides a wealth of activities and resources. The section on biotechnology is particularly fine, with many real examples of current research. Biotechnology "in the News" Biochemnet's section on biotechnology provides a rich exploration of what's going on in biotechnology, with a fine collection of links to tutorials, references, research tools, and virtual laboratory learning opportunities. Union of Conserved Scientists This site expresses the Union's view on many current topics, including genetically engineered crops and antibiotic resistance. Follow the links at the bottom of the screen.		"There's a Gene in My Food" An overview of an Australian consensus conference on genetically engineered food. This site does a terrific job of addressing both sides of the issue, and the conclusions of the conference are interesting to read.
