  Tips for Chapter Mastery

Again, this chapter has a large number of taxa that must be learned. When you prepare your flash cards, try to compare and contrast the various groups. What is the same and what is different between taxa? Note the difference between the Branchiopoda (meaning "respire+foot") and the Brachiopoda, which superficially resemble molluscs (name meaning "arm+foot").
