"Blair's Stealth Strategy on the Euro"

Synopsis:
The euro-zone economy is now a reality as several European Union (EU) countries finally decided to use euro coins and notes. However, whether Britain, the European Union's second-largest economy, is going to join the euro-zone economy still remains as a question. This article provides an answer to the question by reviewing strategic choices Britain may have. Instead of being isolated, Britain may have to be a part of the euro-zone economy. However, as this article explains, there are also several prerequisites that may make the transition much easier.
