This article explains why foreign investors may find it difficult to buy companies in South Korea. Introducing the cases that foreign investors including MICRON, AIG, and GM are struggling to make a deal, this article reviews several factors that make negotiations with counterparts in South Korea a nightmare. This article also introduces some strategies foreign investors may want to consider to get a rare success.
