Synopsis:
The relationship between globalization and prosperity has long been a subject of debates, especially from the perspectives of poor countries. Based on the statistic from the World Bank, this article emphasizes the importance of globalization as a determinant of economic growth; more globalised poor countries have grown faster than rich countries; furthermore, less globalized poor countries have experienced negative growth rates.
