Synopsis:
Is globalization good or bad? Based on a Business week/Harris poll released recently, this cover story explains why the issue of globalization is not as simple as it may look. Even though as many as 64% of Americans polled think globalization benefits the U.S economy, only 10% describe themselves as free traders. Most of those polled are worried about the negative consequences of globalization such as unfair competition, environmental damage, and job loss.
