Synopsis:
Establishing a single currency in the European Union, the euro, has been the subject of interest for the last decades, given the significant impact of it on such diverse issues as trades, exchange rates, investments, competitions, and national sovereignties.
This article introduces the recent pull toward the euro zone. Especially, this article explains how the four countries, Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, are dealing with the issue of whether to join the single-money club. By describing the situations in each country, this article explains why the 11-country euro zone looks set to widen.
