WHAT IS CONCEPT-TUTOR Concept-TUTOR is a Microsoft Excel-based software package that accompanies Strategic Management: Concepts and Cases, 12th edition Crafting and Executing Strategy: Text and Readings, 12th edition Concept-TUTOR consists of A 25 question self-test for each of the thirteen text chapters. A 50-question practice-exam covering the material in Chapters 1-8. A 50-question practice-exam covering the material in Chapters 9-13. The 13 chapter tests consist of an assortment of true-false, fill-in-the-blank, and multiple choice questions that cover the text presentation rather thoroughly. The two practice exams consist entirely of multiple choice questions. Upon completion each test, Concept-TUTOR automatically grades the answers, posts the test score in a personal "grade book", indicates the questions with wrong answers, and indicates where the correct answers can be found in the text. Questions incorrectly answered can be attempted as many times as needed to arrive at the right answer. The Concept-TUTOR self-tests are designed to Drive home the key points in the 13 text chapters. WHAT IS CASE-TUTOR Case-TUTOR is an optional software supplement for use with either Strategic Management: Concepts and Cases, 12th edition Cases in Strategic Management, 12th edition Case-TUTOR consists of Study questions for each of the 27 cases in these two texts and Custom-designed case preparation exercises for 12 of the cases that walk you through the needed analysis, tutor you in appropriate use of the concepts and tools, and help you arrive at sound action recommendations. There are case preparation exercises for cases 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 18, 19, 20, and 21. The Case-TUTOR logo appears on the first page of each of these 12 cases. The study questions for each of the 27 cases serve as a guide for what to think about and what to analyze in preparing the assigned cases for class. You will find the 12 custom-designed case preparation exercises to be thought provoking and beneficial in preparing an assigned case for class discussion, in doing an oral group presentation, or in working on a written case analysis.
