Overview
When the third edition of Strategic Logistics Management was first released in 1993, no one realized that the ideas taught throughout that text would remain relevant for so long. In fact, this text has established itself as a well-respected leader in the field of Logistics, Strategic Logistics Management, and Logistics/Transportation.
Since the last edition, James Stock and Douglas Lambert decided to reexamine their text and its approach. After careful evaluation, they were determined to update their text for an entirely different generation of students. McGraw-Hill/Irwin is pleased to announce that the Fourth Edition of Strategic Logistics Management will be available for your spring classes.
Strategic Logistics Management continues to provide students an excellent balance of theory and practical application while also introducing state-of-the-art logistics information and technology. Still one of the few texts on the market to have a view of logistics from a marketing perspective, this revision also does a stellar job of integrating the areas of logistics, marketing, finance, accounting, technology, and manufacturing.
