SOLE is the International Society of Logistics. When addressing the subject of logistics, one should become familiar not only with the available literature in this field but with some of the subject areas that are closely aligned with logistics. "Logistics," by nature, is interdisciplinary and acquiring a knowledge in these related areas is essential if one is to progress and successfully accomplish his/her objectives in the field. With this in mind, a bibliography has been developed to cover a few very selected references.
