You can download any Visual Statistics module for free. They are the same as the regular modules, except:
- They are for your personal use only. They cannot be installed in a lab.
- They will expire after 7 days, and can never be reinstalled on the same computer.
- They are licensed as download versions.
Visual Statistics runs only on PCs with Windows 95 or greater. You need 40 Mb of free disk space to install VS the entire VS system from the Internet.
Instructors can request a free examination copy on CD. Please contact your McGraw-Hill representative, or call 1-800-262-4729.
Visual Statistics is not a lightweight product, so the download files are large. If you are a statistics instructor, you may prefer to ask your McGraw-Hill representative for a free Visual Statistics CD. See the adoption page for details (including the substantial discounts available to adopters). You can also purchase you own copy of VS for $37.50 (about 3 pizzas).
