Welcome

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm). Visual Statistics is a tool for teaching and learning college-level statistics. It uses visualization to help students understand statistical ideas.

Students use direct manipulation to conduct experiments. For example, one display shows a data plot with a regression line. With a mouse, students can move a data point and see the effect on the regression solution.

Visual Statistics rates well on the 'Aha!' factor. That's when a student suddenly 'gets it.' If you use Visual Statistics, get ready for lots of Aha!
