Once students have generated results for an exam or lesson, you won’t be able to change the questions or lesson tasks. What happens if I delete an exam (lesson) in SimNet?SimNet will automatically delete the corresponding student results in the SimNet gradebook. Deleting an exam or lesson in SimNet will not delete the exam (lesson) in the Blackboard gradebook (and vice versa). Where do the lesson/exam results reside?Lesson and exam scores reside in the Blackboard gradebook. Scores in the Blackboard gradebook are expressed in terms of the total points received out of the total points available. Detailed lesson and exam results are also stored in the SimNet Enterprise database. Detailed reports can be accessed through the SimNet Enterprise Instructor program. Can I create assignments in Blackboard and have them reported in the SimNet gradebook?No. Assignments that you create in Blackboard are only reported in the Blackboard gradebook. The SimNet gradebook and reports will only show exams and lessons created through the SimNet Instructor program. Can I use SimNet Enterprise Blackboard with a Blackboard Basic installation?No, you must have the Blackboard Enterprise edition or Blackboard Learning System 5.5 or higher in order to install the SimNet Building Block. Can SimNet be networked?The SimNet student program must be installed on each client workstation. However, there is an option available to run with the program without CDs. Instead, the CD data can be loaded to the local drive or to a mapped network drive. Instructions for this type of installation are included in your SimNet site license. If you do not have a site license, speak to your McGraw-Hill representative. |
