New Module on HTML and Dreamweaver
SimNet for Office 2003 Release 2 includes a brief module on HTML and Dreamweaver. This new module will include 40 skills or tasks, with an assessment and practice question for each. To view the list of tasks click here.
Composite Exams
The new composite exams feature allows instructors to create one exam that covers more than one application, combining SimNet questions and objective-based questions if desired. And new reports allow instructors to see grade by application as well as for the entire composite exam.
Unique Student Search Capabilities
The Learning component in SimNet for Office 2003 includes a unique search function called SimSearch which allows students to search for a particular skill, task, or topic. This enhances the utility and value of the software for student use. Students can also set Bookmarks and, if they desire, embed Notes to themselves within the Learning component. Remediation for Student Results
In addition to an interface update, all the new content now includes step-by-step student remediation. This feature records and reports on what a student did wrong when answering any SimNet question on an exam. This feature is available for the following modules:
