SimNet™ Assessment Component
Both SimNet for Office XP (SimNet XPert) and SimNet for Office 2003 include learning and assessment components. The assessment component is used for testing student proficiency in the most robust simulated application interfaces on the market today. Two Pools of Questions to choose from! |
|
| |
|
SimNet’s questions are available in two separate question pools: the Practice Question pool and the Assessment Question pool. The pools are separate so you can create a pre-test or practice test from the Practice Question pool without exposing your students to the questions you will be using on an exam or quiz from the Assessment Question pool.
Each question pool is based on a different scenario or hypothetical organization. All questions in the Practice Question pool are based on Bonjour Bakery, a fictional pet bakery. All questions in the Assessment Question pool are based on Sakura Motors, a fictional automobile manufacturing and sales company.

New Assessment options!
With the Enterprise Edition your options for assessing student proficiency have expanded dramatically. Now you can create and assign SimNet Exams (from both the Assessment and Practice question pools), and you can create and assign objective-based exams (true/false, multiple choice, etc.) from the testbanks any or all of McGraw-Hill Technology Education’s applications series and computer concepts textbooks.
And in July 2004 you will be able to add your own objective-based questions to the testbanks in SimNet Enterprise.
