What is SimNet Proficiency?

Proficiency is a solution that easily and effectively allows (1) students to prove proficiency for testing out of or placement into a class, and (2) allows instructors to measure progress during a class for both Microsoft Office XP and Office 2003 (where one master exam is appropriate).

What can an Instructor do with SimNet Proficiency?

Instructor can create one exam that can include both SimNet questions (simulated proficiency-based questions) AND objective-based questions (true-false, multiple choice, short answer) as well as add their own objective-based questions and/or use test banks from McGraw-Hill/Irwin textbooks.  Instructors can include multiple modules (like Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) in the same exam to create an all encompassing exam.

What does a Student gain from SimNet Proficiency?

Students are offered a cost effective and efficient way of having their proficiency measured to gauge suitability for a particular class.

More information is available from your McGraw-Hill/Irwin CIT representative.
