SimNet™ Standard Edition

SimNet™ Standard Edition is intended for smaller classes where you would like to locally host an assessment solution. The Standard Edition can be hosted using a LAN server as the shared data location. This is the location to which the student or client software looks for a menu of custom lessons or exams, and where the client software writes the student results. It is also the location where the Instructor Program looks for student results that are added into the grade book and reports.

SimNet™ Standard Edition is available for both Office XP (SimNet XPert Standard Edition) and Office 2003 (SimNet for Office 2003 Standard Edition).

The Standard Edition Instructor Program allows instructors to create and assign custom lessons and/or custom exams (including setting a variety of exam options), to create and manage student accounts, and to access grade and result reports.

Exam Options

In the Instructor Program users can set a variety of options, either for an individual exam or as global preferences for all exams.
