Connect Master: Introduction to Business lays the groundwork for the conceptual understanding of course content through Adaptive and Individualized Study straight from their Connect homepage. In this case we are learning about ethics and social responsibility.

Student Experience
Adaptive and Individualized Study Plan

As students begin an adaptive study session, they are presented with the learning objectives their instructor has selected for them to master.

Student Experience
Adaptive and Individualized Study Plan

Students are presented with a series of probes in a variety of formats. They are required to answer the probe and provide their level of confidence.
If a student misses a probe, the adaptive platform will provide just in time learning resources in the form of an animated video or slide that covers the concept in detail.

Student Experience
Adaptive and Individualized Study Plan

The learning resources create a focused learning experience for students as targeted micro-lessons focused on one concept at a time. They are specifically targeted to, and directly aligned with the individual learning objectives being assessed.
It is important that students spend time reviewing these resources, as a similar probe will need to be answered correctly before the assignment will be complete. These resources can also always be found and reviewed at any time under the Library menu.

If a student misses a probe on the same learning objective a second time, they will be required to interact with the learning resource to ensure comprehension of the concept.

At the end of the Application Based Activities, students will have the opportunity to review a detailed summary of their performance in each scoring category.
