Check last month’s Economic Indicator Calendar for current indicator values. Assign a 11 to those economic indicators which point to an expansion a 21 for those indicating contraction or 0 if indeterminate or neutral. Sum these values for a crude forecast. How goes the economy?

Using these links trace the steps of the Federal budget process from the initial executive proposal to final presidential signature. What role does fiscal policy play in this process? What are the major policy disagreements relating to the current budget?
