Solman Video Demo

Paul Solman Economics Video Series

Paul Solman, the nationally known economic correspondent for the Lehrer News Hour on PBS, is developing a video to be used in principles-level economics courses. A former Harvard instructor, Solman gives the beginner student helpful comprehension hints regarding core concepts, and his explanations are highlighted by renowned "guest speakers," including Nobel Laureates Paul Samuelson and Robert Solow. Topics are illustrated with student-oriented examples and a welcome dose of dry humor.

Videos will be available on both CD and videocassette in fall 2001.
