to discover the court’s main remedy for reducing Microsoft’s
monopoly power. Finally, Microsoft has appealed the district
court decision to a higher court. Use the Internet to determine
the present status of the appeal. Is the appeal still pending?
Has the district court decision been upheld? Overturned?

or some other standard search engine and type "public utility commissions"
in the search line. Find the utilities commission for the state where you
reside (or another state if you cannot find the website for your state commission).
What industries does the state commission regulate? How many specific firms
are registered or regulated? List the names of ten such specific firms. Why
are these and the other firms regulated?
