Chapter 13 Websites

Analysis of the labor market data for the United States comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, found at www.bls.gov. This site also has an online version of The Monthly Labor Review, which is an excellent source for studies about wages and employment. For example, to find out about trends in relative wages, see "Earnings of College Graduates: Women Compared with Men," Monthly Labor Review, March 1998, online at www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/mlrhome.htm.

For an international perspective, visit the site of the International Labour Organization at www.ilo.org. A site devoted to battling discrimination against women is www.un.org/womenwatch.
