The NBER also dates business cycles for the United States. You can see the recessions and expansions at www.nber.org/cycles.html. Business-cycle data and discussion can be found at the site of the Bureau of Economic Analysis (www.bea.doc.gov). The first few pages of the Survey of Current Business (available at www.bea.doc.gov) has a discussion of recent business cycle developments.
