Stages of Change Across Multiple Behaviors
Many people assume that if you have adopted one positive lifestyle habit that you will automatically adopt other ones. Research indicates that it is possible to be at different stages of change for different behaviors.

The various behaviors that comprise a healthy lifestyle are related but not always highly correlated. Numerous studies have found that there is little correspondence among health behaviors. Based on the stages of change model it is likely that people are at different stages for different behaviors.
