Prices throughout this site are in US$. International prices will vary; please contact your local McGraw-Hill office for further information. For U.S. orders, McGraw-Hill will add sales tax where appropriate in addition to postage and handling. See below for explanation. Unless specified otherwise, all orders within the U.S. ship via U.S. UPS Ground. Methods vary elsewhere; again, please contact your appropriate international office for further information.
Authorized trade accounts are eligible for appropriate discounts.


How are orders shipped?

In the continental U.S. we ship catalog orders by UPS to ensure speedy delivery. Please note that UPS will deliver only to a street address. If your regular mailing address is a P.O. Box but you would like to use UPS delivery, please include your street address in the "Ship To" box on the order form (otherwise your order will be shipped by U.S. mail book post). Since UPS ground delivery is not available in AK, HI, or PR, these orders will be sent by U.S. mail book post. Outside the U.S. please check with your regional office for further details. Refer to the listings in the previous menu.

What if I need my order sooner?

To place a rush order call 1-800-2MCGRAW, Bookstore accounts should call 1-800-338-3987.. If you live in the continental U.S., we offer UPS RUSH service.

How do I order from outside the U.S.?

International customers (outside the U.S.A.) please refer to the selections of our branches worldwide for the office nearest your location.

How can I be sure the items I want are in stock?

If you call between 8:30a.m. and 5:30p.m. EST Monday through Friday to place your order, our order-entry representatives can give you immediate information about stock availability. About back orders: We make every effort to stock all titles listed in our catalog. However, for reasons beyond our control, there may be occasions when a title is temporarily out of stock. If this occurs, please bear with us; we will keep you informed of the situation and complete your order as quickly as possible.

If I don't live in Ohio, why do I have to pay sales tax on my mail order?

McGraw-Hill, Inc. has offices in 47 of the 50 states. Tax law says we have to collect sales tax on mail orders to all those states, except those that do not collect sales tax (AK, DE, MT, NH, and OR). McGraw-Hill does not profit from the collection of the sales tax; the money is returned in whole to the states from where it came.

What do I do if I want to return a book?

Please wrap books well, attach a note telling us why you are returning the book and whether you would prefer a replacement, a refund or a credit to your charge card, and mail it to the returns address on your invoice. To ensure the return is properly credited, please enclose a copy of the invoice/packing list or chargeback.
