    This tutorial is a very good introduction to basic information on Mendelian genetics. The material is divided into six categories and contains a great deal of graphics. The site is maintained by the Waksman Student Scholars of the Waksman Institute at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Recommended: Chime plug-in.

You can search for a particular genetic disorder by keyword (e.g., Tay-Sachs), and you will be provided with the results of a number of scientific studies dealing with that particular genetic condition including a bibliography, a synopsis of the disease, and a discussion of allelic variants.
