Although the site design leaves something to be desired, it is difficult to fault the excellent collection of links amassed by this site. The home page claims that over 4,000 groups are cataloged. For each group in the database the number of adherents, their geographic distribution, and a short description is provided.

If you want to know how a religion developed over time, this is the site for you. For each major religion, a family tree is provided so you can trace its evolution. Clicking on part of the tree brings up detailed information.
