AED sponsors an annual conference for physicians on eating disorders. An estimated 1,000 women die anually due to bulimia and anorexia.
  • American Anorexia and Bulimia Association, Inc. - AABA organizes national school outreach education programs on eating disorders. The Web site has information on these lecture tours (a recent lecture series was given by a formerly anorexic model) as well as referralinformation for sufferers and their families.

The Web resources list on this site is easily the most extensive on the Web, listing almost 100 sites focusing on eating disorders.
