Instructions:
Have some fun changing values to illustrate the effects of using two different size drains to empty a vat. The rate at which the vat will empty is a function of the size and number of drains being used. Vary the size of the drains to see how fast the vat will empty.
You can also "close" one of the drains to observe just one drain open at a time. Try using only one drain and change the size. Then use both drains to see how much faster the vat can empty. The original problem, number 42, is on page 359 of your textbook.
