Instructions:

Now have fun illustrating the direct variation between the distance an object falls in a vacuum and the square of the time it is falling. Notice that weight is not a factor in the falling time. You can change the time in seconds to see where the object is at the point in time. And by clicking on "run," you can watch the change between time and length of the fall.

Try changing the interactive application by clicking on the blue curve to see different times and heights. After checking out various points in time and clicking on "run," make sure you do the original problem in your textbook. It is problem number 55, located on textbook page 516.
