Instructions:

Economists define "total economic impact" as the sum of an infinite geometric series based on the amount a business spends annually in a community and the rate at which that amount is then respent in the community. The impact is the sum of the respending.

Have some fun changing the amount spent by the factory as well as the rate of respending in the community. Change the numbers and see the effect. Don’t forget to do the original problem. It is problem number 43, located on textbook page 633.
