Online Learning Center
Web-based, interactive
learning for your students, the Online Learning Center offers
students many resources including: learning objectives, chapter
reviews, exercises, online quizzing and web
links!
Professors have immediate
access to lecture materials, Instructor's Manuals, test banks,
PowerPoint slides, and answers to all exercises.
Students have access
to the following features:
- Student Self-Tests: Five tests per chapter for
immediate student assessment. Two of these chapter tests will
reside on the student side of the OLC and two will reside on the
instructor side of the OLC so that instructors can assign these
tests using PageOut. One test will reside on both the student OLC
and the instructor OLC.
- Applied Web Exercises: Applied exercises for the
student where data is gathered via web links and web
research.
- Web Resource Guide: Annotated web links
pertaining to the content and the applications in each chapter of
the text. The Web Resource Guide is arranged by chapter.
- NetTutor: Online, live homework help via threaded
discussion lines and a whiteboard service. This service provides online "office hours" with from this field of study as well as a 24 hour posted response service for any student accessing NetTutor during non-office hours.
- Exercises with Solutions: Detailed step-by-step
solutions to 500 odd-numbered exercises from the text.
