A PowerPoint™ Presentation highlights at least one key topic from each section of College Algebra 6/E, Chapter 9. Each PowerPoint slide is labeled by chapter, section, and slide number.
When making a selection the option will open into a new browser window.
Chapter 9 - PowerPoint file
This is a .PPT file. The PowerPoint™ program is required to run this file.
If you do not have PowerPoint™ try one of the "Other Options" listed below. If you have PowerPoint™ and the presentation fails to open, it may be that you will need to associate the .ppt extension to your PowerPoint™ application in your browsers preferences. (IE 4.0 - View, Internet Options. Netscape 4.5+: Edit, Preferences.)
Other Options:
- Chapter 9 - PowerPoint animation player required.
This choice is an online animated version of the presentation. When viewing the slides, click on your mouse button to advance to the next slide. This selection requires that you have the PowerPoint™ animation player for ActiveX installed on your computer. Download Microsoft PowerPoint Animation Player for ActiveX
- Chapter 9 - No plug-in required.
The NO FAIL option. This selection is a browser-based presentation of html pages displaying gifs taken from the original PowerPoint™ slides. Selecting this option will automatically play the presentation. Sorry, the quality is not as good as the real thing.
- Download the PC PowerPoint presentation:
This is a .ZIP file. Once you download this file to your system you may need to extract the .ppt file from the .zip archive in order to obtain the PowerPoint presentation. PKunzip or WinZip are just two examples of archive software programs that could be used to extract this file.
