To find out what is happening with a piece of federal legislation, go to the Library of Congress Thomas site

The U.S. House of Representatives  and U.S. Senate pages provide up-to-date information about legislative action and links to members and committees

Congress.org is a non-governmental site with directories for contacting members of Congress and their staffs.

Persuasion and Business

Visit a site featuring World War II posters and see how many types of persuasive appeals you can identify.

Influence at Work: The Psychology of Persuasion is an in-depth Web site about persuasion and social influence. The authors are scholars, researchers, and consultants.
