Electronic Policy Network Idea Central/Health Policy Page. A virtual magazine with articles on managed care, the uninsured, the future of Medicare, and other issues.
Go Ask Alice. Professional and peer educators provide answers to questions on many topics relating to interpersonal relationships and communication.
National Health Information Center (NHIC). This site puts health professionals and consumers who have health questions in touch with the organizations that can provide answers. It lists over 1000 organizations that provide health information on request.
The National Parenting Center. This site contains a variety of parenting resources, including chat rooms and bulletin boards.
National Safety Council Environmental Health Center. Provides information on lead, radon, indoor air quality, hazardous chemicals, and other environmental issues.
The Self-Esteem Connection. This site contains information about programs from the Self-Esteem Connection, a national organization devoted to promoting self-esteem.
Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC). Provides contact information for local members of a coalition of student and youth environmental groups.
U.S. Administration on Aging. Provides fact sheets, statistical information, and Internet links to other resources on aging.
U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Provides information on FDA activities and publishes FDA Consumer magazine, which frequently includes helpful strategies for evaluating health products and services.
