Eating Disorders Shared Awareness (EDSA). Provides information about eating disorders and links to many resources, including online support groups.

Go Ask Alice. Sponsored by Columbia University, this is an interactive, searchable service in which professional and peer educators answer student questions about many topics, including weight management, diet, and exercise.

Myers Information Service. This site provides information on obesity, weight control, and eating disorders, including current topics such as leptin and new drug treatments.

National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute. Provides information about the latest federal guidelines for the evaluation and treatment of overweight and obesity.

National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). Provides information and referrals for problems related to obesity, weight control, and nutritional disorders.

North American Association for the Study of Obesity. Provides information and links about current research in obesity.

Nutrition Consulting. Provides information on anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating disorders, as well as providing a resource for finding a nutrition consultant.

Shape Up America! Founded by former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, this organization provides materials about safe dietary and physical fitness strategies for successful weight management, an online BMI calculator, and a physical activity quiz.

Yahoo/Health/Weight Issues. This site contains links to many sites relating to weight loss and eating disorders.
