There are many variations on the basic USDA Food Guide Pyramid—for people who follow a particular ethnic diet, for vegetarians, and for people in specific age groups. Review the menu of alternative pyramids, and choose one to investigate.

Pyramid chosen:

What are the food groups, and what are examples of foods from each one? How many servings are recommended for each?
