American Lung Association: Provides information on lung diseases, tobacco control, and environmental health.

CDC Tobacco Information and Prevention Source (TIPS): Provides research results, educational materials, and quitting tips; includes special sections for kids and teens.

Environmental Protection Agency Indoor Air Quality/ETS: Provides information and links about secondhand smoke.

Environmental Tobacco Smoke information: Fact sheet about the health effects of environmental tobacco smoke.

FDA: Children and Tobacco: Provides information about the effects of tobacco on young people and on FDA activities designed to limit tobacco use by children and adolescents.

National Cancer Institute Publications: Smoking/Tobacco: Provides online brochures on a variety of tobacco-related topics, including tips for quitting.

National Institute on Dental and Craniofacial Research: The Facts About Dip and Chew: Provides basic information (with graphic photos) about the health effects of spit tobacco.

National Oral Health Information Clearinghouse: Presents information on the effects of spit tobacco use.

Tobacco BBS: A resource center on tobacco and smoking issues that includes news and information, assistance for smokers who want to quit, and links to related sites.

Tobacco Control Archives: Joe Camel Campaign: A collection of 80,000 pages of once-confidential documents relating to the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company’s Joe Camel advertising campaign; the documents were released as a result of a lawsuit and have been posted by the University of California San Francisco library.

Tobacco Control Resource Center and Tobacco Products Liability Project (TPLP): Provides current information about tobacco-related court cases and legislation; based at the Northeastern School of Law.
