A few years ago, an IBM computer called Deep Blue beat Gary Kasparov at chess. This was an amazing feat since Kasparov was arguably the best chess player in the world. It is also interesting to note that by today’s standards, Deep Blue is considered slow for a super computer! Was Deep Blue a thinking thing? Is artificial intelligence possible?
