Assertiveness: The Navy’s perspective on what constitutes assertiveness. This site provides an assertiveness continuum to better explain the difference between passivity and over-aggressiveness.

Battered Women’s Alternatives: Provides answers to frequently asked questions about domestic violence, links to victim services, and further information.

Bio Online Career Center: Aimed at corporate managers, this site, gives advice on how to mentor a potential successor. An interesting point of view from the world of business.

Counseling and Mental Health Center—Learning to be Assertive: A simple site aimed at those who wish to develop their assertiveness. Links to other assertiveness sites are provided as well.

Counseling and Psychological Services: This site provides basic strategies for behaving more assertively. Eleven steps are listed giving suggestions on such things as describing feelings and asking for feedback.

Husband Battering: A site that provides links to articles, cases, and personal testimony involving husband battering. Provides an interesting view from a male’s perspective.
