It has been noted that when students try to use the NutritionCalc Plus 3.0 CD-ROM on computers
not connected to the internet, the software can exhibit a problem where upon launching the program (after going through a
brief initialization period), the following error message is displayed:
The requested resource (/ncplus3/) is not available.
If you are experincing this problem, please do the following:
- Right click here, and choose "Save Target As..." to download a patch program ("Update.exe").
- Copy the file ("Update.exe") onto a flash drive, floppy disk, or CD-ROM and then transfer the file to the computer on which you were trying to use NutritionCalc Plus 3.0 CD-ROM software.
- Double click the downloaded file ("Update.exe") and follow the instructions on screen to repair the problem.
- NutritionCalc Plus 3.0 will launch automatically after the patch has been installed.
- You should be able to use the NutritionCalc Plus 3.0 software with no further issues.
