CHIME is a plug-in for displaying Chemical information in a number of formats. In general the data file has the display mode set, but you can manipulate this in several ways.

• The molecule can be rotated by using the left mouse button, simply "click-and-drag" to rotate the molecule.
• There is a menu of display features available by clicking on the image with the right mouse button. In this menu you have several options for
• displaying the molecule in different formats, i.e. wireframe, ball & stick, tube, etc.
• 2D to 3D, or 3D to 2D conversions
• rotations and animations
• and a help button listed under "mouse" that contains more info on using the mouse
• and a link to the Chime Support pages.

The different atom types are displayed in different colors:

• Carbon - grey
• Hydrogen - White
• Oxygen - red
• Nitrogen - Blue
• Sulfur - Yellow
• Chlorine - green
• Fluorine - Gold
• Bromine - Maroon
• Iodine - Purple
